Libraries SA
There are more than 130 public libraries in SA – all FREE to join and several of them in the northern suburbs. The library network has locations nearby in Gawler, Evanston South, Munno Para, Elizabeth, Salisbury, Salisbury West, Para Hills, Mawson Lakes, Tee Tree Gully and Ingle Farm.
Members can borrow and return from any location and there’s so much more on offer than just books.
Services, programs and activities include online learning courses, digital classes, kids storytimes, book clubs, author talks and workshops, early literacy and children’s programs.
Visit a library to use free internet and public computers or connect your own device to the free library WiFi. Access Ancestry, census results, military and land records and more.
Your phone becomes your library card when you sign up and download the library app to search the statewide catalogue, place items on hold, manage checkouts and loans and even scan any book, DVD or CD barcode to see if it’s available to borrow.
