JP SERVICE
A Justice of the Peace (JP) is authorised to witness and attest many documents, such as statutory declarations, affidavits, divorce papers, power of attorney and guardianship documents, as well as certify copies of original documents.
You must have the original document(s) in order to have copies certified and all witnessing of documents, with the exception of certifying true copies, require presentation of photo ID.
The Justice of the Peace may only certify up to fifteen (15) copies of any single or multiple document(s) at one time if other clients are waiting. If you require more copies to be certified you can:
Leave your documents with the JP to be picked up at a later time
Re-queue while the JP attends to other waiting clients
Go to the South Australian
