French Toast
French Toast is so easy to make that even the littlest ones can help prepare by cracking and whisking eggs, drizzling syrup and washing berries. It’s almost foolproof and so tasty. Perfect for Mother’s Day breakfast in bed.
INGREDIENTS
Thick sliced bread of choice
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
butter for frying
maple syrup and berries to serve
METHOD
Whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon and vanilla in a shallow dish
Dunk bread of choice (stale is best) into egg mixture, coating on both sides. Remove excess.
Pan fry bread in butter until blushing gold on the surface and crispy golden on the edges
Drizzle with maple syrup and top with fresh berries.
