Welcome to the Wonderful World of Mad Hatterz Parties
Toni Anne fell into face and body art unintentionally, by offering to ‘help out’ the face painter at her son’s day care centre over 26 years ago.
With the help of an incredibly supportive partner, this soon became both a creative outlet and a successful business.
But parties were growing, and families were asking “what more can we do?” which led to the addition of balloon artistry, organised craft activities, event planning and everything in between.
The rapid growth saw Toni Anne assemble a wonderful team of artists and performers and Mad Hatterz Parties became a one-stop destination for all your party needs.
Delving into body art ten years later ignited even more passion. Allowing Toni to merge her creative skills in painting with dramatic painted bodies, letting the design speak for itself. Further pushing her capabilities, she has created jewels, feathers, clothing adornments and elaborate headpieces to complement the painted forms. Check out her amazing work on the cover.

About Toni Anne
Based in the north, she has lived most of her life in the area and loves it here.
The opportunities in the north are amazing. I get to travel all over SA and interstate and still want to come back. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.
Giving back to the community is important to Toni Anne. As an Honorary Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Salisbury she is proud to have had the pleasure of chairing the Australia Day Committee, being involved in many activities with the Club, raising funds for local initiatives and working at the Rotary Club of Salisbury’s second hand shop, AllSorts at Parafield Airport.
She is a Board Member for the Salisbury Business Association and supplies artists and entertainment for various community events, as well as helping to plan some amazing events such as the Salisbury Christmas Pageant.
Toni Anne also sits on the Committee of the Northern Business Breakfast – a rotating monthly breakfast between the City of Salisbury and City of Playford – bringing together small business owners and speakers of interest. The Northern Business Breakfast is about getting business owners out of their workplaces and networking in the local community, building business relations and increasing market awareness.

There are many to choose from and often the simplest can be the most fun and least stressful.
Entertainment/Games
This is our speciality! Face Painters, Balloon Artists, craft activities, Jumping Castles, Soft Play and more – consider your location and what it has to offer.
Treasure Hunts, Pinata’s – some of the best parties we plan are the old fashioned ones with the games we played as children such as pass the parcel (which can take many fun forms!)
Craft activities are a great way, especially in the colder months, to create a fun and exciting atmosphere for the children
Entertainers are great for breaking up the party and have kids interact as well as adults – remember we don’t only do KID’S Parties – we love to entertain the Big Kids too!
Food
Pizza ovens and coffee vans are great options for very little work – you call, book, they arrive and cook for you! – some have service and clean up options available. Or, keep it low key and serve fan favourites such as fairy bread, store-bought sausage rolls, party pies and jelly cups. Children are often more interested in playing than eating!
Photos
In this digital age – take the Photos! They are memories that last a lifetime. We can organise a photographer to come to your event, or you could ask a friend and delegate the job.
Remember – there are so many things we can tell you but the most important is to enjoy the day – this is a one off opportunity to share love, family and friendship.

Seeing the smiling faces of the guests when they have their faces painted, or receive a balloon creation, or a small win with the party games – this is what makes our world revolve. We Are Awesome! We love to create magical memories for all ages and will continue to do so for as long as we can.
