Peter Malinauskas MP, Premier of South Australia, has officially opened Crowne Plaza Adelaide Mawson Lakes and The Heroic development, reinforcing Mawson Lakes as a key economic hub in northern Adelaide, backed by an ever-growing catalogue of world-class corporate, defence and educational organisations establishing themselves in the region.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony marked the completion of the multi-year project which attracted an investment of over $70M by hotel owners, Pelligra and One7, and represents an expansion in the portfolio of one of the world’s largest and leading hotel companies, IHG Hotels & Resorts, as its 5th branded hotel to open in Adelaide.
The 155-room hotel delivers the first and largest premium accommodation offer in northern Adelaide, with its international brand, extensive conference and event capabilities and premium dining amenities expected to benefit both the business and tourism sectors.
